Random thought of the day: I get attached to our family cars.  My dad has had this red Toyota Solara for over ten years now, and last week this stupid teenager bashed into the back of it when my mom was driving.  The damage costs more to fix then the car is worth, so the insurance company decided to total it.  There's probably something psychologically skewed about anthropomorphizing everything, but I can't help it.
