Verse of the Day: The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. Romans 13:9-10 NIV

Random thought of the day: So I've decided that attraction is more complicated for me than simply someone looking good. Last night this nice looking guy at karoake kept telling me how "sexy" I was, and how "amazing" my eyes were, but I felt nothing, because I didn't know him.  Compliments really only have value if you value the person's opinion, and how can you do that if you don't know them at all? I couldn't feel anything for him either, even when he hugged me before leaving, because time together and personality are love-determiners for me, both of which I didn't have.  Love at first sight must be a myth... at least for me.

In my head: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ju8Hr50Ckwk

MLS: "Today I learned from the noise outside my window that construction workers start their days at 5am. MLS."

Truth or Myth?: "Gum swallowed will take years to digest." (Yesterday's answer: Myth. This false rumor began when a film circulated featuring an actress who looked suspiciously similar to Babs.")

ScaryFact:  "Workplace injuries come at a high cost to employers. According to a 2007 Workplace Safety Index from Liberty Mutual insurance, the most disabling injuries cost U.S. employers over 48.3 billion in workers compensation claims."

Urban Dict: 10 Minutes ago= out of style. "That hat is so ten minutes ago."
